Candela Pagnoni

Cande is a client-centred play therapist with over five years of experience, specialising in child mental health and child play therapy. She works with children and adolescents facing challenges such as anxiety, trauma, stress, aggression, and difficulties with emotional regulation and social skills.
Cande believes strongly in the potential for positive change within every individual, and she is deeply passionate about helping children express their emotions, fears, and desires through therapeutic play. She recognises the significant role that parents and caregivers play in a child’s emotional growth and, as such, works collaboratively with families to ensure holistic support. Cande also offers parent support and coaching throughout the therapeutic journey, empowering parents to better understand and nurture their child’s emotional development, better understand and navigate the family dynamics to bring more balance and harmony within the family system.
Cande is also proud to offer family play therapy, creating a safe and collaborative space where both parents and children engage in therapeutic play together. This process deepens their bond, allowing them to better understand each other, process emotions, and strengthen their relationship.
In her practice, Cande brings compassion, enthusiasm, and a fresh perspective, helping children and families overcome challenges and build stronger, healthier connections. Whether working with a child to address anxiety or guiding parents in fostering emotional regulation, Cande is dedicated to supporting both the child and their family through meaningful, transformative work.
Cande can speak English and Spanish.
