Amie Scott
Amie has been a mental health social worker for over ten years. Her passion for play therapy originates from her deep-rooted belief in the significance of early emotional development and attachment.
She believes that the intricate tapestry of a child’s world, emotions, thoughts and experiences weave together in ways that can often be challenging to express with words alone. Amie understands that for a child, play is not a frivolous pursuit, but a profound language through which they communicate, explore and heal.
Amie’s approach is child centred and encompasses frameworks of trauma informed, attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology.
