Our psychotherapy and coaching sessions are for any parent who feels burnt out, stuck, or at a loss in their parent-child relationship and ready to do the inner work to create profound shifts in their parenting journey. Parents will be supported to explore,  understand and embrace your relationship with your children, yourself as a parent, and the connection between your perception of your past relationships and how you parent today.

Engaging with one of our parent specialists will create opportunities for profound perspective shifts, healing inner child wounds, and understanding and addressing repeated and no longer serving patterns and triggers.

At The Family Systems Hub in Melbourne, we believe many of the repeated difficulties or patterns we experience in life within the family system are interconnected with our family ancestral roots. 

 

Our Psychotherapy & Coaching Approach:

Psychotherapy draws on the healing power of the client – therapist relationship to help you make positive changes in your life and develop greater self understanding and have the life tools that are within you to feel more steady, mindful and resilient. Our therapists and coaches are trained and experienced in how to be with another person in a away that is conducive to that persons’s healing, wholeness and psychological wellbeing.

In some instances, one or two sessions will be enough to find resolution but sometimes it may require seeing our therapist/coach more regularly over an extended period of time. Our psychotherapists and parent specialist team utilise a broad range of therapeutic interventions to assist you in exploring and resolving the root emotional causes of a personal or interpersonal nature or the most challenging aspects of your parenting that traditional talk therapy may not fully access or address. Our psychotherapists and parent specialists  embrace a family systemic perspective that blends somatic awareness, modern psychology, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, attachment, gestalt, family constellations, and EMDR towards holistic health and healing.
