A Reflective Space for Therapists: Deepen Your Self-Awareness & Systemic Insight from a Family Constellations Lens
Are you a therapist, healer, or mental health professional seeking a deeper connection to your inner self and therapeutic practice? Join us for Family Constellations for Therapists, a powerful group experience designed to uncover hidden influences within your family system that shape your professional and personal life.
Developed by Bert Hellinger, Family Constellations is a brief, solution-focused therapeutic approach that quickly reveals unconscious patterns affecting relationships, behaviors, and emotional well-being. These systemic influences can limit your ability to hold space for clients, impact coping strategies, and hinder personal growth. This workshop provides a safe, reflective space to explore your own inner therapist, mission, and purpose.

Why Family Constellations for Therapists?
We all belong to a family system—whether we acknowledge it or not. Our roots shape us, just as a tree is shaped by the soil it grows in. Often, we carry unseen patterns, entanglements, and unresolved emotions from our family lineage that affect our work as therapists.
By engaging in the Family Constellations process, you bring these influences to light, allowing for profound healing, self-discovery, and alignment in both your personal and professional life.

We all come from a family system. To deny this is like pretending a tree has no roots or a seed does not come from a fruit. Our family lineage lives within us, influencing our emotions, behaviors, and the way we relate to the world. Often, we are unaware of these dynamics—or choose not to look at them. Yet when we engage in the Family Constellations process, we bring these connections into the light, offering ourselves an opportunity for profound healing and transformation.
What happens after a family constellation?
It is normal to experience a range of emotions after a family constellation session. These emotions may include relief, sadness, joy, anger, or a sense of release. Participants may also feel emotionally drained or physically tired. Engaging in self-care practices after a family constellation session is vital to support your emotional well-being.
- Hydration, Rest and Relaxation: Keep yourself hydrated. Prioritise rest and relaxation to replenish your energy. This may involve getting enough sleep, taking breaks, and engaging in activities that help you unwind and recharge.
- Emotional Expression: Allow yourself to express and process your emotions. This can be done through journaling, talking with a trusted friend or therapist, or engaging in creative outlets such as art or music.
- Grounding Techniques: Engage in grounding practices to reconnect with the present moment and your body. This can include mindfulness meditation, deep breathing exercises, or activities in nature.
- Self-Compassion: Be gentle and compassionate with yourself as you integrate the insights and experiences from the constellation session.
What can be constellated?
Anything that is affecting our life. Things that are repetitive, persistent, or very intense and difficult for us to overcome or resolve.
What cannot be constellated?
Changing another person. In Family Constellations, the work is focused on the consultant. However, since we are part of a family system, our change impacts other members of the system in multiple possible ways.
